"At the beginning there was a simple loop, at the end a highly variable system" - this sentence aptly sums up the development of the modular lighting system SLACK-LINE from OLIGO.
Because the concept of the 24 V system is based on the innovative idea of hanging the respective lamp heads in a rope loop and thus being able to combine them as required. A rearrangement or replacement of the lamp heads, which are also referred to as "light modules", is possible at any time.
Despite the different functions and lighting effects of the individual light modules, be it ambient or workplace lighting, direct or indirect light, point or surface light - the arrangement on the canopy can be freely selected. There are canopies with one or three lamps in round and two, three and even four lamps in elongated form.
Each rope loop has an invisible height adjustment. The rope winding is hidden in the canopy and cannot be seen from the outside. The adjustment range is between 70 cm and 2 m extension length.
All light modules have modern operating functions such as dimming buttons, touch dimmers or gesture control and an integrated Casambi module. This offers extended options for lighting control such as changing the light color
(tunable white, 2200 K to 5000 K) and programming light scenes.
A special highlight is the possibility to assign other functions to the control element of the light module via the Casambi app, e.g. Dimming, changing light color, controlling scenes and groups (also in connection with other Casambi lights) etc.
Example: In the case of a multi-lamp luminaire, all luminaire heads can be combined in one group. One of the operating elements controls the brightness for the entire luminaire, another the light color. Or a control element calls up a light scene with dimmed, warm white light: a romantic candlelight dinner atmosphere is just a push of a button away.
A completely new palette of gently shimmering color tones has been created for the individual light modules. Each shade not only looks fantastic in itself, but also results in a harmonious play of colors in combination with the others from the same palette. The surface structure is particularly fine thanks to the glaze process used and also offers a pleasant haptic experience.
